How does a dam good time relaxing at a Dam sound? UQ Sail is going to give you the best adventure you could dream of!

So, what are the deets?

Meet us at UQ on Friday morning, we take you up to the lake. Spend the daytime sailing, playing beach sports, and chilling, and at night we have a waterfront party (hopefully with a campfire if the weather allows) then camp under the stars. Then, we get you back to UQ Sunday night.

Tickets include food, transport, sailing time, camping fees, land activities, and more. Just BYO self, camping gear, and eating utensils, and come have a dam good time!

What do you need to bring?

  • Tent
  • Sleeping Bag
  • Cutlery, a mug, and a bowl
  • Towel
  • Good vibes

  • If you haven’t already, you may to do a swim assessment before you can come. Don’t stress, its not too hard! We will update you with details soon!
  • Tickets do NOT include alcohol and no alcohol is available for sale at the venue. If you want to drink you’ll need to bring your own alcohol. If you do choose to drink UQ Sail encourages you to drink responsibly and takes no responsibility for your actions under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • For insurance reasons, anyone attending needs to be a UQ Sail member. If your not already a member there is a bundle option!

We are taking all precautions to ensure our event is COVID Safe. We are in constant communication with UQ Sport and taking all recommendations from QLD Health. If you have travelled from interstate, experienced covid symptoms, or have been in contact with someone who has, please contact the exec and do not attend the event. As part of our COVID-Safe plan we ask that you:

  • Bring your own personal equipment, including a water bottle, towel, and camping gear. To allow for social distancing, we recommend you do not share a tent with someone unless you live with them.
  • If you have flu symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has or is suspected to have COVID-19 please notify executives and do not attend the event.
  • If you become sick after the event, you must notify executives as soon as possible.
  • In general, practice good hygiene and social distancing at all times.

If you do come to a UQ Sail event and are showing symptoms of COVID-19, you will be asked to leave.
