ABOUT US
The University of Queensland Sailing Club, UQSail sails on beautiful Moreton Bay. We welcome members of all experience levels, holding both social events as well as racing. During the year we host social BBQs, racing days, camps and day trips.The club's boats are stored at Cleveland Yacht Club (CYC), providing us with easy access to the bay. We hold events on either a Saturday or a Sunday throughout the uni semesters. We join CYC's sunday racing on the bay. Picturesque Peel Island is a regular destination for our social day trips and camps. As well as these sailing events we hold BBQs and meet for a drink and chat at the Red Room on Thurdays around 5pm.
Our fleet includes: Hobie 16s, Hobie Getaways, Pacers and Lasers.
